About Elise
Artist & Studio Professional
Elise Avolio is a multidisciplinary artist and arts professional based in Massachusetts. She earned a BFA in Ceramics with a minor in Art History from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022. Her practice spans ceramics, painting, printmaking, and scenic painting, with a particular interest in color, form, and material.
Alongside her studio practice, Elise has worked extensively in ceramic studio management, facilities operations, and education, supporting artists, students, and community members. Her experience across artistic and operational roles has shaped an approach grounded in making, collaboration, and hands-on engagement with creative spaces.
